Alan first picked up a guitar at the age of six and over the years his musical inspirations have come from players such as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and lots of other guitarists not called Jimmy at all, such as Steve Vai, Eric Clapton and Nile Rogers. Having dabbled with both bass and drums, Alan returned to the guitar in 1999 and working as a sound engineer and Project Manager in the world of corporate events, formed Elements in 2001. He also writes the occasional piece of original work.
